1. Successful mastering of the academic disciplines "Human anatomy", "Physiology", "Pathomorphology", "Pathophysiology", "Propaedeutics of internal medicine", "Pharmacology", "General surgery". 2. The ability to independently apply knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathomorphology, propaedeutics of internal medicine, etc. discipline for solving specific scientific and practical problems; to work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Possession of elementary skills of system analysis.
Course content
The educational discipline "Traumatology and Orthopedics" is a component of the cycle of training specialists of the "Master's" educational level under the educational program in the specialty 222 "Medicine". "Traumatology and Orthopedics" is a mandatory discipline, during the study of which students learn theoretical and practical skills and develop professional skills for diagnosing emergency conditions in the case of injuries of the musculoskeletal system and providing emergency medical care; principles of restorative treatment and rehabilitation of patients with damage to the musculoskeletal system; understanding of the most frequent complications in traumatology and orthopedics and methods of their prevention; forecasting the average terms of recovery for typical injuries and orthopedic diseases.
