Learning outcomes
As a result of the preparation and defence of the qualification work, the following programme learning outcomes are tested: to understand the specifics and features of of the implementation of cultural ideas, images, and meanings; analyse textual and visual sources of information on cultural phenomena and processes, promote the profession of cultural studies, adhering to ethical principles; organise and maintain communications with government agencies, research institutions, information and analytical services, and the media on cultural issues; communicate fluently in state and foreign languages to discuss professional issues, present research results; make effective decisions on to solve complex problems and practical problems of cultural development of society; ability to collect, analyse and evaluate empirical evidence and interpret it; plan and carry out scientific and applied research in the field of cultural studies, generate and test hypotheses.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before writing a qualification work, students should know the theoretical content of the subject area: a system of cultural ideas, approaches, concepts, theories, concepts and principles of cultural phenomena and processes. 2. To be able to collect, systematise, analyse and interpret information about cultural objects and practices; to predict the prospects for the development of cultural phenomena and processes in the modern world. 3. Possess skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting in relation to political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena; use of foreign language professional cultural information sources.
Course content
Preparatory stage - Choosing a research topic - Determination of the subject, object of research, purpose, main tasks - Acquaintance with the literature on the topic, its selection and compilation Work on the text - Studying and summarising the literature on the research topic - Clarification of the structure and research plan - Presentation of the main text of the work - Writing the introduction and conclusions Design of the work - Making a list of references - Editing the text Preparation for defence - Preparing a speech

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.2), which is 30% of the total grade, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.5); (communication 3.1-3.4); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.4), which is 70% of the total grade. Final assessment of qualification work : - Minimum 60 - Maximum 100
