Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the main historical figures and main events in the history of Ukraine. 2. To be able to determine the results and consequences of the most important events in the history of Ukraine. 3. To have elementary skills of working with educational literature.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to form a systematic idea of the historical ties between Ukraine and the East, the "Ukrainian policy" of the countries of the East, and their relations with Ukraine.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
- final assessment: - form of assessment – credit; - the maximum number of points that a student can receive is 20 points; - The student's learning outcomes are evaluated, such as being able to establish a cause-and-effect relationship in certain events of Ukraine's relations with the countries of the East, being able to find out the causes and conditions, trace the progress, and determine the main driving forces in certain events of Ukraine's relations with the countries of the East. - the form of assessment is oral, the types of tasks are tasks that require detailed answers; - the minimum threshold level of the credit score, at which the credit is considered passed - 12 points. Necessary condition for admission to credit: a student is not admitted to credit if during the semester he scored less than 40 points (critical-calculated minimum). The recommended minimum admission to credit is 48 points.
Assessment methods and criteria
The control of the student's knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system. The total number of student points is formed by the semester points obtained from all topics of two content modules (points obtained during seminars (oral examination); points obtained for the completion of essays; points obtained during the module control (for the completion of test tasks), as well as points received during the final control (credit), namely for completing the proposed tasks. The assessment of the success of students' knowledge is carried out in two forms: semester evaluation (control papers, oral survey, essays) and final evaluation (credit). The total amount of points - 100 points (of which, semester assessment 80 points; final assessment (credit) – 20 points).
