Learning outcomes
PRN 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in national and foreign languages (Arabic and French) orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PRN 5. Cooperate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, adherents of different political views, etc. PRN 10. Know the norms of the literary Arabic and French languages and be able to apply them in practical activities. PRN 14. To use Arabic and French in oral and written form, in various genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
successful mastery of practical courses of the French language, taught during six semesters of study, and the ability to do lexical-grammatical analysis of French texts. The educational discipline "Western European language of business and academic direction" is based on the cycle of disciplines of professional and practical training, in particular "Practical course of Western European language".
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to acquaint students with the actual lexical-semantic, stylistic and pragmatic problems of translating business speech and with possible ways to overcome them, as well as to deepen students' knowledge based on the study of textual material that reflects socio-economic and socio-political topics, various styles and genres French language.
