Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process; to have basic knowledge of the humanitarian and social sciences. 2. To be able to collect and interpret information about social phenomena, processes and events; to determine the modern features of the coexistence of human communities in the conditions of globalization; plan and evaluate own work; use interactive and multimedia learning tools. 3. To have basic skills of working with humanitarian texts; critical attitude to political, economic, socio-cultural processes, events and phenomena.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is the formation of a system of basic knowledge, skills and philosophical thinking skills for solving complex specialized tasks and practical problems, as well as creating conditions for students to independently understand the conditions of existence and development of the natural and social world, forms of culture and knowledge, man and his essence .

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.6), which makes up 40% of the total assessment and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.6) ; (communication 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.3), which is 60% of the total grade.
Assessment methods and criteria
A student's oral response at a seminar class is considered a report (full and conceptual disclosure of a separate question of the seminar), supplement, announced discussion, reasoned point of view, answer to problematic questions.
