Learning outcomes
PRN 7. Understand the main ones Arabic problems (Hindi / Persian) philology and approaches to their solution with application expedient methods and innovative approaches. PRN 8. Know and understand language system, general properties of literature as art of words, history Arabic (Hindi / Persian) language and literature, and to be able to apply this knowledge in professional activity. PRN 15. Implement linguistic, literary and special philological analysis of texts of different styles and genres. PRN 16. To know and understand basic concepts, theories and the concept of the chosen one philological specialization, to be able to apply them in professional activity. PRN 17. Collect, analyze, to systematize and interpret the facts of language and speech and use them for solving complex problems and problems in specialized professional spheres activities and/or training.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful acquisition of language analysis and interpretation skills at all levels of its structure according to the elementary programs of high school. 2) knowledge of the basics of literary and linguistic terminology in accordance with elementary programs of secondary school. 3) mastering the skills of analyzing grammatical forms and syntactic constructions, as well as basic elementary skills of etymological analysis.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is the formation of students' knowledge of the basic provisions of language theory, with for the purpose of applying them in the analysis of specific linguistic phenomena in the Latin language, mastery students with theoretical knowledge of the basics of grammar and syntax of the Latin language, skills of etymological analysis of borrowed words from the Latin language in modern times European languages.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from the entire educational course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which synthesizes and independent work on processing theoretical material for classroom preparation: oral answers, participation in discussions, control papers) and for independent work. All types of work for the semester have a total of: - maximum 60 points, - minimum 36 points. In case of absence from the practical session, the student must complete the assignment. Final assessment: exam. Final evaluation in the form of an exam: maximum number of points on the exam - 40 points; the minimum number of points (positive grade), which are added to the semester ones, is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for the exam); the following learning outcomes are evaluated on the exam: RN 1.1-1.3, RN 2.1, RN 2.1-2.4, RN 3, RN 4.1-4.2).
Assessment methods and criteria
The discipline ends with an exam. Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 36 points are not allowed to take the exam. For students who did not reach the cut-off grade level (36 points) during the semester, in order to be admitted to the exam, it is necessary to complete the missed topics in writing and submit/send them by e-mail to the teacher conducting the class. The maximum mark for additional assessment forms cannot exceed 40% of the final mark (up to 40 points on a 100-point scale). The final number of points for the discipline (maximum 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final assessment (exam). Admission to the exam requires the student to successfully complete assignments and work throughout the semester.
