Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: - the main elements of research activity, principles of organization, methods and technologies of conducting hydrological, glaciological and hydrogeological studies, learn how to conduct author's research and, in particular, in terms of collecting primary information, theoretical premises and working hypotheses, choosing a methodology and methods of conducting an analysis of the bog regime , glaciers and underground waters and their individual components. Вe able : - apply for applied purposes the theoretical foundations of mireological, glaciology and hydrogeological research in the world in general and in Ukraine in particular, distinguish and classify types of swamps, glaciers and groundwater, use methods and methods of field and stationary mireological, glaciology and hydrogeological research and approaches on the preservation of individual components of swamps, glaciers and underground waters.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is for students to gain systematic insights into physical, chemical, geological, and biological phenomena and processes occurring in swamps, glaciers, and underground waters, and to analyze the geographical features of their manifestation. The specified hydrological objects are considered natural, taking into account the peculiarities of the state and movement of water in them. Providing students with deep theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and abilities in the fields of bog science, glaciology and hydrogeology, forming students' ability to solve complex scientific questions and practical problems.

Assessment methods and criteria
Сonditions for admission to the exam: the recommended minimum for admission is 36 points. For students who scored a total of less than 36 points (recommended minimum), a mandatory condition for admission to the exam is to write essays on missed or insufficiently mastered topics. - final assessment in the form of an exam is conducted in written format. The maximum number of points during the exam is 40, the minimum number of points added to the semester ones is 24 (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for credit). The final grade in the discipline consists of the points scored by the student based on the results of the semester control of the first and second parts and the points of two modular control tests.
