Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: approaches, principles, teaching methods, forms of organization at universities; methodical principles of formation of knowledge, skills and abilities; psychological principles of education of students of universities.
Be able to: develop plans-summaries and conduct lectures, practical, seminar classes at universities; adhere to the approaches and principles of universities, choose and use optimal methods and methodical techniques for universities.
Students must speak English at a level not lower than B2.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is the formation of students' methodological competence - knowledge, skills, ability and readiness to plan, organize, implement, analyze the process of learning English at universities , monitor and evaluate students' educational achievements.
The discipline is designed to ensure the formation of methodical competence - knowledge, skills, ability and readiness to plan, organize, implement, analyze the process of studying AM in universities, control and evaluate the educational achievements of students.
The teaching method of AM at universities contributes to the formation of the ability to apply technology, approaches, methods, principles, means of teaching AM, the ability to apply domestic and world experience in teaching AM, the ability to control and correct the knowledge, skills and abilities of students of universities of AM, the ability to solve problems , related to the process of studying AM in universities; adapt to changes in the educational space.

Assessment methods and criteria
The maximum number of points per semester is 60. At the exam, students receive a maximum of 40 points.
Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 36 points are not allowed to take the exam. For students who during the semester did not reach the minimum cut-off grade level, at the end of the semester, an additional final semester test is conducted or essays on course topics are evaluated. The maximum grade for additional assessment forms cannot exceed 40% of the maximum total points for the semester - 24 points.
The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the student during the semester and the points received on the exam, the maximum distribution is carried out according to the following algorithm: 60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam).
