Course content
The educational discipline "Theory of the English language" is one of the key components of the comprehensive training of a specialist at the educational qualification level "bachelor". The discipline includes lectures and practical classes on the course of theoretical grammar of the English language.
English language learning takes place on the basis of the main provisions of the communicative approach to learning a foreign language using authentic materials and modeling real communicative situations. The principle of communicativeness is defined as the primacy of communicative goals within the four types of speech activity relative to the secondaryness of language-thematic material as the basis for the further formation of the ability to communicate.
