Student should know the physical essentials of medical devices technical design Student should be able to estimate influence of different physical effects on medical equipment characteristics and to estimate quantitative values of these characteristics

Student should know mathematical disciplines, general physics, essentials of medical radiophysics and data analysis in the scope of bachelor program in applied physics Student should be able to solve tasks in the scope of mathematical disciplines, general physics, medical radiphysics and data analysis in the scope of bachelor program in applied physics
Course content
Physical essentials of diagnostic and other medical devices design are given. The main attention is paid to technical features of equipment construction that increase useful physical effects influence and decrease influence of non-ideality factors.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures 52 hours, laboratory training 16 hours
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester score: Semester contains two modules. Each module has two written module tests up to 10 point each. Maximum module score 20 points each. Laboratory training is held during the semester up to 40 point in total. Maximum semester score is 80 points. Final score (final test): final written test up to 20 points. The positive grade condition is not less than 60 points in total.
