Learning outcomes
To know and apply in professional activity normative legal acts, documents, reference materials.
Apply conceptual knowledge of natural and socio-economic sciences when performing tasks of geodesy and land management.
To carry out survey and search, topographic-geodetic, cartographic, project and project-search works.
Collect, evaluate, interpret and use geospatial data, metadata about objects of natural and man-made origin, apply statistical methods of their analysis to solve specialized problems in the field of geodesy and land management.
Select and apply tools, equipment, hardware and software required for remote, ground, field and
chamber studies in the field of geodesy and land management. Organize and carry out remote, ground, field and camera exercises
work in the field of geodesy and land management, process the obtained results in geoinformation systems, prepare reports.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
the student must have knowledge from the course "Higher Mathematics", "Geodesy", the basics of mathematical processing of the results of geodetic measurements, skills in working with a personal computer (Excel)
Course content
consists in assimilation of general information from the entire complex of geodetic and topographic works, which are carried out for the construction and operation of engineering structures; modern geodetic instruments and methods of performing geodetic measurements for the creation of plan-altitude survey networks, construction of plans, longitudinal and transverse profiles, solving engineering problems in the design and placing of construction projects on the terrain, vertical surface planning, construction and operation of hydrotechnical structures, geodetic monitoring .
