Learning outcomes
LO01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of earth sciences. LO04. Use information technologies, cartographic and geo-informational models in the field of Earth sciences, in particular in soil science. LO08. Justify choices and use field and laboratory methods to analyze natural and anthropogenic systems and objects. LO13. Be able to convey the results of activities to a professional audience and the general public, make presentations and messages. LO15. Be able to choose optimal methods and tools for research, data collection and processing.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastery of the disciplines "Introduction to soil science", "Geomorphology", "Basics of landscape ecology", "Basics of GIS". 2) skills of field and camera landscape research, free use of GIS.
Course content
The educational discipline considers the theory, methodology, international experience and innovative solutions regarding the spatial planning of nature conservation areas of communities.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Assessment methods and criteria
Examination in test, oral and written form. The maximum number of points on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to the semester ones is 27 points. Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points are not allowed to take the exam. The recommended minimum for admission is 33 points.
