Learning outcomes
LO01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of earth sciences.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Mastering the disciplines "Geology", "Geomorphology", "Landscape science",
"Ecology". "Methodology of spatial planning", "International experience of spatial
planning".
2) To be able to research and analyze rural areas on various information slices,
evaluate natural conditions and resources, know the principles of managing their use. 3)
Possess GIS, skills in the analysis of cartographic materials, remote sensing materials
sounding of the Earth and construction of thematic maps.
Course content
The content of the discipline reveals theoretical-methodical and applied spatial issues
planning of rural areas, in particular, familiarization with regulatory requirements for
general planning of villages, methodology and practice of development of urban planning documentation, and
as well as international experience in the organization of rural areas.

Assessment methods and criteria
Examination in test, oral and written form. The maximum number of points on the credit is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to the semester ones is 24 points. Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points are not allowed to take the credit. The recommended minimum for admission is 36 points.
