Learning outcomes
LO01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of earth sciences. LO06. Determine the main characteristics, processes, history and composition of the Earth as a planetary system and its geospheres, including the pedosphere. LO08. Justify choices and use field and laboratory methods to analyze natural and anthropogenic systems and objects. LO10. To analyze the composition and structure of the pedosphere on different spatial and temporal scales. LO12. Know and apply theories, paradigms, concepts and principles in the Earth sciences, particularly in the field of soil science.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful ometric mastery of such educational disciplines as "Geology", "Geomorphology", "Dynamic geomorphology. 2) the ability to determine the main morphological and morphometric characteristics of the earth's surface; 3) possession of elementary skills of analysis of cartographic materials of various contents.
Course content
The content of the discipline reveals the general regularities and regional differences of the topography of the territory of Europe and Ukraine. The structure of the discipline consists of two parts. The first part is dedicated to the study of general orographic, morphological and morphometric features of the earth's surface, the factors and conditions of their formation, features of morphostructure and morphosculpture, the spectrum of modern exogenous processes. The second part is regional in its content and is devoted to a detailed analysis of the geological structure and geomorphological features of the largest orographic units of the territory.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, independent work, practical session.
Assessment methods and criteria
Performance of practical work, preparation of a presentation, modular control work, exam. Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points are not allowed to take the exam. The recommended minimum for admission is 32 points. Students who received a score of 20 to 32 during the semester evaluation receive an additional individual task during the exam. The final assessment (exam) is conducted in written form. The maximum number of points on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to the semester ones is 28 points.
