Discipline "Environmental pollutants" aimed at deepening theoretical ecological knowledge, formation of future specialists in geoecological thinking and competences, their understanding the essence of ecological risks associated with the pollution of environmental components and food products, cross-border distribution of dangerous chemicals, in particular persistent organic pollutants. Materials of the educational discipline provide an opportunity to apply environmental impact assessment procedures in practice, to assess the risks of transboundary transport of pollutants. This is educational discipline is an integral part of constructive geography and unifies knowledge related disciplines related to risks to the environment and public health, industries and human social activity. She provides the ability to analyze activities related to the protection and restoration of natural ecosystems
