Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process based on school knowledge programs of disciplines "History", "People and the world", "Artistic culture", "Ethics". ● To be able to collect and interpret information about phenomena and phenomena of the world and culture, to understand the essence of philosophical problems, topics, ideas, to be able to analyze philosophical and scientific texts; ● Have elementary skills of perception and analysis of information; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural events and phenomena.

Educational The discipline "Philosophy" provides an opportunity to involve students in worldview and methodological culture accumulated by mankind throughout the history of its existence,show the integral, integrative nature of knowledge about the surrounding world,to emphasize the fundamental importance for each person of his free worldview self-determination, choosing an active life position, creating good by doing strengthening of the state and society through own activity. Philosophy for the future of geography specialists is a worldview and at the same time a methodological basis, on the basis of which there is assimilation of humanitarian, general education, fundamental and applied disciplines. To a large extent, it is thanks to her that the way out becomes possible consciousness of students beyond narrow professional training, orientation to universal human values.
