Course content
Educational discipline "Methodology of planning field ecological studies" aimed at forming the ability to apply basic knowledge of natural sciences and social sciences when studying the geographical envelope and its components. It is integral a component of physical geography, geomorphology and applied geoecology and also unites many related disciplines related to the relationship between man and nature. the purpose disciplines is the acquisition by students of the necessary experience in planning and organization field ecological observations; familiarization with specific methods of chemical analytical studies of soils, surface water and atmospheric air in the field conditions; mastering the methods of selecting representative samples for target analysis components in stationary laboratories. Students will be introduced to the basic criteria for evaluating the quality of environmental objects for scientific needs, monitoring purposes and inspections. They will master the skills of drawing up a work plan and maintaining the necessary documentation of sampling from for the purpose of environmental impact assessment (EIA), master modern methodological approaches to analysis atmospheric air and natural waters in field conditions; and also get acquainted with the basics of safety techniques when performing various field geoecological studies categories
