Learning outcomes
Know and understand the main types geographical activity, their division in general and in particular in cross-border industries ecological cooperation.(PRN2). Know the goals of sustainable development and opportunities of their professional spheres for their achievement, in that including in Ukraine during implementation of programs and projects cross-border environmental cooperation. (PRN10). To adhere morally ethical aspects of research,honesty, professional code behavior. (PRN11). Understand the basic concepts,theoretical and practical problems in the field of natural sciences sciences, which are necessary for analysis and adoption of cross-border and local solutions in the field ecology, environmental protection and optimal nature management. (PRN13).

Prerequisites and co-requisites
a. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Biogeography", "Economic and social geography of the world", "Social and political studies", "Meteorology". b. To be able to analyze the peculiarities of natural and anthropogenic processes in geographical ones shells, to explain the peculiarities of the organization of geographical space; c. to understand the peculiarities of the organization of geographical space, in particular in the context cross-border environmental cooperation; d. Identify problem situations and propose ways to solve them.
Course content
The educational discipline "Environmental conflicts and their settlement" is aimed at formation of students' ability to apply basic knowledge of natural and social sciences when studying the geographical envelope and its components. It is an integral part of the physical geography, applied geoecology and also unites many related disciplines related to economic and social spheres of activity, problems of morality, law and economy the relationship between man and nature. The purpose of the discipline is for students to acquire the necessary experience for understanding the causes and nature of environmental conflicts as a subject of research geoecology. Educational materials should acquaint students with directions of international activities related to the settlement of environmental conflicts, the termination of international environmental crime and related risks, and will demonstrate examples of recovery natural ecosystems to achieve the goals of sustainable development. Students will be introduced to the conceptual apparatus of environmental conflictology, in particular definition of concepts - "natural-ecological safety", "technogenic-ecological safety", "civil protection", "danger and risk", "ecological and economic system" "impact assessment on environment", "strategic environmental assessment" and other categories of geoecology and economics nature management They master the skills to determine the content of basic concepts environmental conflictology from the theory of geography, the organization of environmental protection activities, as well as worldview and related natural sciences.
