Learning outcomes
1. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of geographical sciences for needs of cross-border, national,regional and local complex environmental projects (PRN 5) 2. Use information technologies,cartographic and geoinformation models at studying the landscape structure of the territory,execution of complex ecological projects (PRN 6) 3. Apply models, methods of geoecology,mathematics, information technologies, etc when studying natural and social processes of formation and development of landscapes and their components (PRN 8)

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the key provisions of informatics, cartography and general geography discipline 2. To be able to apply mathematical methods in geography. 3. Have the skills to work in an information and network environment.
Course content
Concepts of spatial are considered analysis as the basis of modern geography and about geoinformation data structures and their models Approaches to input, saving, selection, editing and output of geographically coordinated data, manipulation of these data and their spatial analysis.
