1. Know, understand and be able to use on basic concepts of practice theories of physical geography, of landscape ecology, a as well as philosophical sciences (P01). 2. To explain features of the organization geographical space depending on his physical geographical features, fig landscape structure (P03). 3. Determine the main ones characteristics, processes,history and composition landscape shell and its components (P07).

1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Biogeography", "Geology", "Meteorology","Hydrology and oceanology", "Soil science", "Cartography with basics topography". 2. To be able to establish the nature of relationships between causes and consequences land degradation in different countries of the world. 3. To be able to analyze the negative consequences of irrational land use positions of international cooperation in the field of land protection. 4. To know the theoretical foundations of land relations in the world and in Ukraine, algorithm of international cooperation in the field of assessment of the ecological state of land resources for their protection and effective use. 5. To know modern quantitative and qualitative methods of geographical research, methodology monitoring and land protection, determination of maximum permissible standards concentrations of pollutants in the soil, etc.

This educational discipline devoted to the study of theoretical and practical aspects of evaluation, use and protection of land resources, causes of land degradation in the world, principles and modern methods used in geographical research, as well as formation of abilities and skills to solve actual problems in the plane international cooperation in the field of optimization of use and protection lands Discipline "International cooperation on land assessment and protection" aimed at deepening theoretical knowledge about international development cooperation on environmental issues, formation of special students professional, social and personal competencies, accumulation of knowledge regarding the possibility of critical thinking, analysis and synthesis, the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources, the ability to determine, formulate and solve problems in the field of natural geography and land protection.Separate components of the discipline are the study of assessment principles and methods land resources of the world; methods of avoiding land degradation processes and desolation; principles of rational use and protection of land from influence adverse anthropogenic and technogenic factors; ways of implementing paths sustainable use and protection of land in the context of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals development-2030. The functional block of the discipline involves mastering the following components, such as the ability to apply basic knowledge of natural sciences and information technologies in planning land protection measures, ability apply quantitative and qualitative methods of land resource assessment, ability independently research and analyze international legal agreements for purposes rational land use and land protection.
