PLO 1. Critically consider, select and use the necessary scientific, methodical and analytical tools for management in unpredictable conditions. PLO 2. Identify problems in the organization and justify the methods of solving them. PLO 8. Apply specialized software and information systems to solve organizational management problems. PLO 13. To be able to plan and implement informational, methodical, material, financial and personnel support of the organization (subdivision).

1. Know: the basic principles of modern theory of micro- and macroeconomics, the basic principles of enterprise functioning, methods of mathematical statistics and probability theory, basic statistical methods of data analysis, methods and tools of marketing research, applied data processing programs. 2. Possess the skills of statistical processing and data visualization, working with the regulatory and legal framework.

The content of the discipline is revealed in the following topics: concepts and types of data in business statistics; statistical analysis of random situations in business; statistical methods of working with random variables characterizing business processes; preliminary planning of a random sample for evaluating business processes; confidence intervals in assumptions about the inaccuracy of estimates of business processes; statistical methods of quality management in business.

Problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, practical tasks, Case study, consultations, independent work

1. Participation in laboratory classes (presentation of completed tasks and independent performance of practical exercises) – 10 points / 6 points 2. Test work (topics 2-4) – 40 points / 24 points 3. Preparation and defense of an individual calculation project - 50 points / 30 points - final assessment in the form of credit.
