1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Biogeography", "Educational practice in methods acquisition of geographic information", "Meteorology", "Hydrology and Oceanology". 2. To be able to analyze the peculiarities of natural and anthropogenic processes in geographical envelopes, to be able to carry out a comprehensive assessment of the state geocomponents; 3. To know the main features of the functioning of natural geosystems undergoing the influence of anthropogenic activity; 4. To know modern quantitative and qualitative methods of geographical research, to be able to use them apply in production and research activities;5. be able to model objects and processes, using modern quantitative and qualitative methods methods and geoinformation technologies.

This discipline is dedicated to study the general mechanisms of functioning of natural geosystems, Features of processes occurring in anthropogenized systems, including causes of environmental problems; principles and modern techniques, about conducting monitoring studies of the components of the landscape, as well as formation Skills and Skills in Solving Basic Geo -Ecological Problems in Plane subject area of knowledge of natural geography. The discipline is aimed at Formation of students of special professional, social and personal competencies, accumulation of knowledge about the possibility of critical thinking, analysis and synthesis, ability to search, process and analyze information from different sources,the ability to identify, formulate and solve problems in the field of natural geography and geoecology. Separate components of discipline are the study of principles and methods of conducting monitoring research of geocomponents, methods improving the efficiency of monitoring research; Features of the technique conducting monitoring studies in urban and agro-ecosystems; procedures Observations on the level of contamination of the components of the landscape.The functional block of discipline involves mastering such components,as the ability to apply the basic knowledge of the natural sciences and information technology in natural-geographical activity, the ability to apply quantitative and qualitative methods in the study of geosystems, the ability to independently explore, analyze spatial-time changes in the parameters of geocomponents Including for the purposes of international environmental cooperation.
