Course content
This academic discipline is dedicated to studying the peculiarities of history and economic use by man natural resources, as well as the current state of geocomponents; changes in geosystems from the natural state, through the history of economic development to the modern one makes it possible to understand its real development at the beginning of the 21st century. and with smaller ones costs to stabilize undesirable natural and, in part, social processes. The discipline is aimed at forming students of special professional, social and personal competences, accumulation of knowledge about the possibility critical thinking, analysis and synthesis, the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources, the ability to determine, formulate and solve problems in the field of nature use and nature protection.Separate components of the discipline are the study of the peculiarities of development geocomponents; anthropogenic factors that play the greatest role in functioning of geosystems; principles of rational use and protection components of the landscape from the influence of adverse environmental factors that arise as a result of anthropogenic activity; research methods anthropogenic changes in geosystems. The functional block of the discipline involves mastering the following components,as the ability to apply basic knowledge of natural sciences and information technologies in the system of nature management and nature protection activities, the ability to apply simple quantitative and qualitative methods in research geosystems, the ability to independently investigate, analyze space-time changes in the parameters of geocomponents for the purposes of territorial planning.
