            Course content

The discipline consists of two content modules. The first one analyzes the place of geoarchaeology in the system of Earth sciences and natural-scientific methods of studying archaeological monuments, examines the main stages of human development and material cultures during the Quaternary period and their correlation with existing regional and global paleogeographic schemes.
The second content module examines the complex of analytical works on geoarchaeological sites for the purpose of paleoecological reconstructions, the actual method of paleoecological reconstructions for geoarchaeological sites, the peculiarities of the use of geoarchaeological data in Quaternary geology and paleogeography.
