Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student's competencies, which are necessary for studying "Engineering computer graphics", are based on the knowledge obtained during the study of the following disciplines: "Higher Mathematics", "Topographic (or Land Survey) Drawing", "Computer Design", "Topography", " Geodesy", "Fundamentals of Land Management". To study the discipline, the student must be a confident PC user.
Course content
The course program is designed for both beginners and students who already have certain CAD skills. The program provides for the development of projects, both in two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional space (3D modeling) with the creation of project documentation (according to the principle from simple to complex) with the study of the possibilities of exporting/importing projects into other data formats. The course should lay the foundations for further independent in-depth study (using recommended literature, publicly available Internet resources and online courses) of the software and mastering AutoCAD functionality. The knowledge acquired by students will be necessary in further studies, in the preparation of qualification papers, professional activities and communication with planners, architects, constructors, and designers.
