PR01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of Earth sciences. PR05. To be able to conduct field and laboratory research. PR07. Apply models, methods and data of physics, chemistry, biology, ecology, mathematics, information technologies, etc., when studying the natural processes of the formation and development of geospheres. PR08. Justify the choice and use field and laboratory methods for the analysis of natural and anthropogenic systems and objects. ПР09. To be able to carry out studies of geospheres using quantitative methods of analysis. PR10. Analyze the composition and structure of geospheres on different spatial and temporal scales. PR11. Organize and summarize the materials of field and laboratory research.

Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of physics, mathematics and general geology.
Course content
The main attention is paid to the theoretical and physical foundations of geophysical methods, applied geophysics, the principles of the construction of devices and the method of performing measurement work are considered. Approaches to the solution of direct and inverse problems of geophysics are considered; the methods of qualitative and quantitative interpretation are explained on individual examples. The areas of application of geophysical methods are given on real examples, in particular in geoecology. The general principles of setting geophysical problems, an overview of ways of their implementation and effectiveness are included in the consideration. their application.
