PR01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of Earth sciences, geoecology, marketing and restoration of ecosystem services. PR06. Determine the main characteristics, processes, history and composition of the Earth as a planetary system and its geospheres. PR07. Apply models, methods and data of physics, chemistry, biology, ecology, geoecology, mathematics, information technologies, etc. when studying natural processes of formation and development geosphere PR10. To analyze the composition and structure of geospheres on different space-time scales.

In the process of studying the discipline, issues related to: origin and structure are considered Earth and planets of the solar system; the main structural elements of the earth's crust and their material composition; the main research methods used in geology; basic concepts of mineralogy and petrography; exogenous and endogenous processes of formation minerals and rocks; relative and absolute age.
