Prerequisites and co-requisites
n order to better master the educational material of the discipline, students must possess elementary skills and knowledge of mathematical disciplines that are studied in general educational institutions to solve specific practical problems. Have knowledge elementary mathematics. To have the ability to solve problems of elementary mathematics, to work independently with scientific and methodological and scientific mathematical literature.
Course content
Educational discipline "Higher mathematics" is a compulsory educational component and is taught in the first semester.The scope of the academic discipline is 4 ECTS credits. Disciplines are considered in the program fundamental concepts of linear and vector algebra, analytic geometry, mathematical analysis. During the implementation of the course program, students will acquire knowledge of theory of matrices, determinants, systems of linear equations, vectors in space and on the plane, will study the concepts of scalar, vector and mixed products and their properties, will study mutual placement of lines and planes in space, master the concepts of continuity functions, limits of functions, differentiation, integration. These basic mathematical concepts necessary for preparing students to use general mathematical methods c further training courses, promoting the development of logical and analytical thinking students for use in applied programs when studying educational disciplines program "Geoecology" specialty 103 "Earth Sciences".
