P01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of Earth sciences, geoecology, marketing and restoration of ecosystem services. P02. Know and understand the main types of geographical activity, their division in general and in particular in the field cross-border environmental cooperation. P13. To be able to communicate the results of activities to a professional audience and the general public, to do presentations and messages, in particular, regarding the organization of ecosystem services.

1.1 the main historical prerequisites for the formation of university education in the world; 1.2 main stages and features of the development of educational processes on Ukrainian lands; 1.3 Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural events and phenomena 2. Be able to: 2.1 to characterize the peculiarities of the influence of world universities traditions on the formation of the Ukrainian educational system; 2.2 understand the essence of historical processes that influenced development university education in Ukrainian lands; 3. To have basic skills of independent formation conclusions about educational processes in the world, in Ukraine and in Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University at different times chronological periods, apply in practice the knowledge received in the learning process.

Acquaintance with the primary sources of classical education and its traditions. Highlighting the peculiarities of Western European university education at at different stages of historical development from ancient times to modern times. Characteristic evolution of domestic higher education, formation and functioning of universities on Ukrainian lands. Historical review of the process of establishment and further scientific and pedagogical activities of the university in Kyiv (XIX - XXI centuries). Analysis the current situation of Taras Shevchenko KNU and the Faculty of Geography against the background of global trends in the field of higher education.
