Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting this course, students have know - basics of literary analysis of works of art; - historical conditions of the development of Ukrainian literature; - genre and style specifics of modern Ukrainian literature; - peculiarities of the coexistence of various stylistic tendencies within the modern literary discourse: realism, modernism, postmodernism, avant-gardeism, surrealism, "magical realism", etc.; - basic literary concepts, freely operate with them during the analysis of artistic works. be able - to analyze the ideological and artistic content of literary works, works of writers in the context of the current requirements of modern literary studies; - identify literary phenomena, collect, systematize, describe and analyze the researched material; - to navigate in modern scientific and critical literature on the problems of the development of Ukrainian lyrics, prose, drama.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to provide a professional study of the main trends in the development of modern Ukrainian literature, to form in students objective scientific knowledge about the modern Ukrainian literary process, its ideological, thematic and genre-stylistic specifics. The course consolidates and deepens basic knowledge of the history of Ukrainian literature, in particular the regularities of the development of the Ukrainian historical-literary process in relationships with world literature and culture. Continues the systematic study of bright modern literary phenomena in a variety of styles and genres. In the process of studying the discipline, students study the peculiarities of the poetics of modern lyrics, drama, short stories, novels, ideological, thematic and genre-stylistic specifics of the works of Yuriy Andruhovich, Oksana Zabuzhko, Halyna Pagutyak, Serhiy Zhadan, Yuriy Vinnychuk, and others.

Answering at a seminar class, participating in professional discussions during seminars. Independent work, creative tasks, presentation of the results of independent work in the form of reports, messages, presentations. Modular control work / Creative project.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral report, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: 21 / 35 points 2. Independent work (analysis, synopsis of texts): 25/45 points 3. Final control work in written form/ Creative project - 14 / 20 points Final evaluation in the form of credit: the final number of points for the discipline (maximum 100 points) is determined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional assessment measures.
