Prerequisites and co-requisites
successful mastery of practical and theoretical French language courses taught during four semesters of study, and the ability to perform lexical and grammatical analysis of French texts. The course "Communication Strategies and Translation (1st semester)" is based on a cycle of professional and practical training courses, including "French Language," "Introduction to Translation Studies," and "Translation Practice."
Course content
The course "Communication Strategies and Translation" is a compulsory multi-semester course for students majoring in Oriental Languages and Literatures (translation inclusive), the first one being Vietnamese. In the first semester, the discipline is taught in the amount of 4 credits, or 120 hours in total, including 40 hours of practical classes and 80 hours of independent work. The form of control is a test.
