            Course content
        
        
            The purpose of the discipline is to form students' understanding of the essence of social life and the social structure of society, as well as the skills of analyzing social phenomena and processes. The course is aimed at forming skills in the use of conceptual and methodological tools of sociological science for the analysis of complex social objects, phenomena and processes, understanding the directions, trends and social mechanisms of the functioning and development of social objects, phenomena and processes, the ability to explain the social consequences of social changes and social transformations

The criteria for evaluating independent work are the presence of an independent, scientifically based comment (with reference to the main and additional literature for the course), the formulation of an opinion using professional terminology and compliance with the terms set aside for the performance of independent work. The criteria for evaluating the control work are the amount of knowledge of the educational material, the degree of argumentation and the depth of disclosure of the content of the assigned task
