Learning outcomes
The student must understand the essence of such phenomena, technologies and problems: energy characteristics of biochemical processes. Regulation of enzymatic processes. Medicines as enzyme inhibitors. Energy conversion in living cells. Biological oxidation and energy conjugation processes. Aerobic and anaerobic ways of glucose oxidation. The role of ATP in the processes of energy accumulation and transfer.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Secondary education. Basic knowledge at the level of a secondary school program in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Course content
The Bioelectronics discipline consists of two meaningful modules No. 1 "Energy characteristics of biochemical processes" and No. 2 "Energy conversion in living cells". In the first of them, the basic thermodynamic laws underlying the vital activity of living organisms are studied, in the second - the mechanisms of the processes of energy accumulation and transfer in cells.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: The academic discipline has two substantive modules, each of which is assessed for 30 points. Final evaluation (in the form of an exam): the form of the exam is written and oral. The examination ticket consists of 2 questions (15 points each) and a problem, which is evaluated up to 10 points.
In total, you can get from 0 to 40 points for the exam. A condition for achieving a positive grade for a discipline is obtaining at least 60 points, the grade for the exam cannot be less than 24 points.
