            1. To apply the understanding of the nature and meaning of politics as a specific type of human activity and a special field of knowledge to solve complex problems of political science, including the development of ideas about politics and its modern interpretations, the peculiarities of the exercise of power in various political systems, their socio-economic, historical and sociocultural context. 6. Critically consider the principles of the exercise of power and public policy, political institutions and processes, world politics and the politics of individual countries and regions. 9. Design, plan and carry out scientific research using qualitative and quantitative methods and specialized tools of political science, including formulating and testing hypotheses, interpreting data, justifying conclusions

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical-cultural process and the history of ethics; basic concepts of moral consciousness and categories of ethics.
2. To be able to process a large volume of philosophical literature; collect and interpret information about the phenomenon of morality and moral relations; apply the main philosophical terms, categories and classifications in the analysis of moral problems of our time.
3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; the use of foreign language professional philosophical information sources.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            the discipline "Professional and corporate ethics" belongs to the list of mandatory disciplines and is taught in the II semester of the master's degree. The educational discipline introduces students to the basics of theoretical understanding of professional morality and moral regulation of relations in organizations, in particular in the field of political practice. The subject, methods and place of applied, professional and corporate ethics in the system of ethical knowledge are disclosed, their content and principles are highlighted. Students learn the basic concepts of professional and corporate ethics, study the principles of moral and normative support of various professional spheres, methods and mechanisms for solving the main moral dilemmas of modern practices; reveal ways to overcome the gap between general moral principles and requirements of corporate ethics. The course examines the practical capacity of ethical codes in the moral regulation of professional activity. The essence and specificity of political ethics as a scientific and practical discipline, its methodology and categorical apparatus are investigated. Specific moral problems of political practice are analyzed.
