            PLO 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with experts and non- experts in Ukrainian, German and English, in oral and in written form, use these languages to organize effective cross-cultural communication.
PLO 10. Know the rules of standard language and be able to apply them in practice.
PLO 11. Know the principles, technologies and techniques of oral and written texts of different genres and styles creation in Ukrainian, German and English.
PLO 12. Analyse language units, determine their interaction, and characterize linguistic phenomena and the underlying processes.
PLO 14. Use German and English in oral and written form, in different genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.

            Proficiency levels in German language:
Group 1 - A2 (basic level), B1 (intermediate level - the level of educational attainment for secondary school graduates), and B1+ (intermediate level - the level of educational attainment for graduates of schools with an advanced study of the German language) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Group 2 - Beginner level, A1 (elementary level).
Acquiring elementary language and communication skills necessary for mastering the lexical and grammatical material of the German language, as well as all types of communicative activities in German.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The academic discipline "Practical Course of German Language" is a component of the educational-professional program for the training of specialists at the bachelor's level in the field of knowledge 0203 Humanities, specialization 035.043 German Language and Literature (including translation), with the first language being German. The discipline is mandatory and is taught in semesters 1-7 with a total of 58 credits. The language of instruction and assessment is German and Ukrainian. Teaching is based on didactic and methodological principles, emphasizing the main tenets of the communicative approach to foreign language learning, utilizing authentic materials. The focus is on the sociocultural aspect of intercultural communication. Instruction is conducted through practical sessions and independent student work. The study of the discipline concludes with an examination.
