Learning outcomes
PLO 4. To assess and critically analyse socially personally and professionally significant issues, and suggest solutions in complex and unpredictable conditions, which requires the application of new approaches and forecasting.
PLO 5. To find optimal ways of the effective interaction in a team of professionals and with the representatives of other professional groups on different levels.
PLO 13. To explain the essential concepts of specific philological issues, personal point of view and its substantiation both to the specialists and general public, students in particular, in a comprehensible and reasoned form.
PLO 19. To apply knowledge of modern types, approaches, methods, principles and methodological requirements to the educational and methodological support of the process of teaching the Persian language in a higher education institution.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of following courses “Pedagogy in Higher School and Pedagogic Skill of a Teacher”, “Psychology in Higher School” “Method of Teaching Persian in the Higher School”, and “the Persian language: Functional Level”.
Course content
The goal of the course is to form magister students' practical skills in the modern working conditions of a higher education institution based on the acquired theoretical knowledge of professional disciplines, pedagogy, psychology, methods of teaching Persian in higher school; mastering up-to-date methods and techniques of preparing and delivering lectures, seminars and practical classes on a subject matter.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
There are four parts of assistant’s practical activity:
1. Participation in the setting conference, acquaintance with the scientific and methodological literature of the language centers in the Department of Languages and Literatures of the Middle East, curriculum, working programs of teachers of the department, attending lectures, seminars and practical classes of teachers of the department. Preparing individual work plan.
2. Approval by the supervisor of the practical activity of the individual plan of the student and topics of practical (seminar) lectures. Preparation for classes. Delivering 5-6 test lectures.
3. Writing two detailed plans-synopsis of practical (seminar) classes, holding two test classes in the specialty.
4. Registration of documentation and report on the results.
Assessment methods and criteria
The summarized evaluation of the results of the practical activity (min. 60 / max. 100 points) consists of the points received during 4 stages as follows: 1st stage – 6/10 points, 2nd stage – 12/20 points, 3d stage – 18/30 points, 4th stage – 24/40 points.
