Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of philosophical and religious processes; basic religious theories and methods and techniques of religious studies, including dialectical method, interdisciplinary, etc.; basic religious concepts and categories; foundations of historical-philosophical theory.
Course content
The discipline "Non-traditional forms of religiosity" introduces students to the basics of religious research in the field of mysticism, mysticism, esotericism, methodology and methods of their research. The subject, tasks, theoretical foundations, methodologies, main directions and problems of both modern and former problems of "non-traditional knowledge" are defined. The socio-cultural foundations of the emergence and peculiarities of the functioning of non-traditional currents and movements are clarified. The principles of analysis of philosophical and religious problems are considered. The peculiarities of the functioning of non-traditional forms of religiosity in society are explained - their negative consequences.
