Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses: the complex discipline of the complex discipline "Linguistic aspects of AOPM systems", as well as "Actual issues of data analysis (Data mining)", "Info search and obtaining information from the text (Text-mining)", "Software engineering", " Models and methods of machine learning", "Programming technologies of AOPM systems".
2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of general linguistics, linguistic statistics, mathematical and computer linguistics, information and speech technologies, and English language;
3. Mastery of statistical analysis methods; skills in mathematical and computer modeling of linguistic phenomena; principles of collecting, accumulating, processing, and searching for information.
4. The ability to design a conceptual model of data in the linguistic field; create software systems using databases and knowledge; fluently read, speak, and write in English.
Course content
Production practice is a form that confirms acquired practical skills for the assignment of additional professional qualification 2132.1 - programmer (applied). The professional qualification is assigned by a separate decision of the examination commission, subject to the successful completion of Production practice - not less than 75 points. During industrial practice, students develop the skills of the practical application of professional knowledge and competencies acquired during two years of study to successfully solve tasks in the field of creating information linguistic systems for the automatic processing of natural language, in particular: automatic analysis of text data, speech recognition, and synthesis, creation of databases and databases for speech recognition, understanding and synthesis, voice control, classification and clustering of documents, machine translation, designing dialog systems, information retrieval, obtaining semantic and tonal information from the text, determining the topic of the text, abstracting, annotating and editing the text, creating web interfaces to databases and knowledge, dynamic webpages.
In order to activate students' creative thinking, initiative, and ability to independently analyze and summarize the results of work, to ensure a more specific and purposeful course of industrial practice, students-interns receive individual tasks, the content of which is agreed upon by the head of the practice and the head of the production base of the practice.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The organization of the internship is carried out in accordance with the Regulations on Educational and Practical Internships of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology
Assessment methods and criteria
The results of the practical internship of students are evaluated on a 100-point scale.
All points received by the student are recorded in the internship evaluation form. The final grade (100 points) is formed by the sum of points received on the assessment of the practice supervisor before the internship defense (60 points) and on the final control (40 points). A student who did not complete the internship program in full and received an unsatisfactory grade is placed on the internship again.
