Learning outcomes
PTR 9. To characterize the dialectal and social varieties of the Russian language and to describe the sociolingual situation.
PTR 11. To create oral and written texts of various genres and styles in Ukrainian.
PTR 10. To know the norms of the Ukrainian literary language and be able to apply them in practical activities
PTR 12. To analyze linguistic units, determine their interaction and characterize linguistic phenomena and processes that determine them.
PTR 14. To use Ukrainian in verbal and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (official, informal, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.
PTR 18. To have the skills to manage complex actions or projects in solving complex problems in professional activities in the field of translation and be responsible for making decisions in unpredictable conditions.

Course content
The purpose of the final exam is to test the level of graduates' theoretical knowledge, practical skills in the field of Ukrainian language and translation, and mastery of the program learning outcomes.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
During the final exam, students are asked theoretical questions on the modern Ukrainian language and practical translation tasks; the level of their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of Ukrainian language and translation are tested.
The exam is conducted in oral and written form and involves answering theoretical questions on lexicology, word formation, morphology and syntax of the Ukrainian language and translating from the native language into Ukrainian.
Assessment methods and criteria
The exam paper consists of theoretical and practical questions.
Assessment criteria.
Oral answer in modern Ukrainian language - 60 points in total, 20 points for each of the three questions, namely:
1. Modern Ukrainian language: Lexicology / Word Formation - 20 points;
2. Modern Ukrainian language: Morphology - 20 points;
3. Modern Ukrainian language: Syntax - 20 points.
4. Written translation task from native language into Ukrainian - 40 points.
