Learning outcomes
PLO 11. Appreciate diversity and multiculturalism, be guided in pedagogical activities by ethical norms, principles of tolerance, dialogue and cooperation. PLO 15. Apply methods of bilingual and integrated teaching of language and professional content, master the didactics of multilingualism and methods of parallel teaching of related languages, methods of working in a heterogeneous (mixed) learning environment. PLO 20. Ensure cultural dialogue in the process of studying Turkish language and literature and English, create conditions for intercultural communication.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before taking this course, students should know the basic concepts of Turkic lexicology and linguistic studies of Turkic countries.
Course content
The main types of speech activities in the second Turkic language (Azerbaijani) are formed: reading, speaking, writing and listening. Students' communicative language competencies are developed: perception and understanding of basic and intermediate level discourse by listening, ability to communicate on topics defined by the program, text comprehension and ability to reproduce what they have read. Students develop writing and reading skills that meet the requirements of an advanced level of proficiency in a second Turkic language. The ability to use the theoretical aspect of grammatical material in practical application is improved. Classes are held in the form of practical exercises. The course ends with an exam.
