Learning outcomes
PLO 2. To know the patterns of personality development, age and other individual characteristics of students, their psychology and the specifics of family relationships.
PLO 4. To know and understand the peculiarities of teaching heterogeneous groups of students, to apply differentiation of education, to organize the educational process taking into account the special needs of students.
PLO 9. To know the forms and methods of educating students in the classroom and in extracurricular activities, to be able to track the dynamics of personal development of the child.
PLO 10. Able to design a psychologically safe and comfortable educational environment, work effectively autonomously and in a team, organize student cooperation and communication with their parents.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the general principles of philosophy, ethics and other disciplines of the humanities.
2. Be able to work with scientific sources of information, be able to analyze them, draw conclusions and build hypotheses and assumptions.
Course content
The discipline "Psychology (for secondary school students)" belongs to the list of compulsory disciplines of training and is aimed at mastering the general theoretical provisions of psychological science and the basics of the practice of applying psychological knowledge in the educational process with children and adults. Students of the course study mental phenomena in human life and methods of their study. Separate topics are devoted to the study of the cognitive and affective spheres of personality, the regularities of the functioning of mental processes, and the structure of personality. A number of topics are devoted to the study of the peculiarities of mental development of the individual, tasks, and peculiarities of development at different age stages, with a particular focus on childhood and adolescence. The influence of education and educational activities on the mental development of the student's personality is studied.

Evaluation of semester work:
1. Work with a case/essay: 6 - 10 points.
2. Oral answers (participation in discussions; work in mini-groups; activity of participants in the classroom): 18 - 30 points.
3. Preparation of the essay: 6 - 10 points.
4. Final control work: 6 - 10 points.
5. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
