Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Know the historical stages of development of the subject area. PLO 6. Use the tools of a democratic state governed by the rule of law in professional and social activities. PLO 13. To know and understand the modern philological and didactic principles of teaching Turkish language and literature and English, language norms, socio-cultural situation of the Turkish language, features of the use of language units in a particular context, language discourse of fiction and modernity. PLO 14. Possess communicative competence in Ukrainian, Turkish and English (linguistic, socio-cultural, pragmatic components in accordance with the European recommendations for language education), able to improve and enhance their own competence level in the national and international context.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Developing students' language and speech skills and abilities by forming a system of background knowledge that includes the worldview and views that dominate Turkish society. 2. Ability to use basic and professionally specialized knowledge of the basics of philology, history, economics, sociology and cultural studies in cognitive and professional activities. 3. Possession of the culture of thinking, knowledge of its general laws, ethical assessments and tastes, norms of verbal and non-verbal behavior, and the impact on the comprehensive development of students' linguistic and country studies competence.
Course content
"Regional Linguistics" contributes to the successful mastery of the Turkish language by students through the representation of the unique and specific linguistic realities of the Turkish nation. The discipline "Regional Linguistics" is a normative academic discipline, taught in the first semester of the 1st year in the amount of 120 hours (4 ECTS credits). Classes are held in the form of lectures, practical classes and independent work. The course includes 2 content modules and 2 module tests. The course ends in the first semester with an exam.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills); (communication); (autonomy and responsibility), which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral report: 16.5 - 26 points. 2. Supplements, participation in the discussion: 6.5 - 10 points. 3. Blitz survey: 1 - 4 points. 4. Module test №1: 6 - 10 points. 5. Module test №2: 6 - 10 points. 6. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
