Prerequisites and co-requisites
- Know the current problems of modern Crimean Tatar linguistics, the methodology of scientific research on the Crimean Tatar language and literature, and the principles of academic integrity; - know the history of the development of research in oriental language and literature in Ukraine and abroad; - be able to organize the process of scientific research, develop a methodology and plan of scientific research, select information sources of scientific research; - to be able to draw up the results of scientific research in accordance with applicable rules and regulations; - to be able to apply theoretical and methodological knowledge in practical activities; - have the skills of scientific research and structural and systematic analysis of professional literature.
Course content
The public defense of the master's thesis takes place in the form of a presentation using various forms of visualization of the report (presentations, tables, figures, etc.) and the use of technical means (slides, multimedia projectors, audio, video equipment, computers, etc.) If the work involves the compilation of a relevant dictionary, its presentation (publication is optional) is expected. At the public defense, the project manager's feedback and review of the master's thesis are announced, and the student answers questions from the committee members and comments from the supervisor and reviewer. The master's thesis is graded on a 100-point scale, taking into account the sum of the points given by the supervisor, reviewer, and examination committee in accordance with the approved evaluation criteria. The task of the qualification work is to develop theoretical thinking, creative abilities of future specialists, to develop their abilities for practical and research and research activities.

Consultation with the supervisor; independent work on the research topic; work with scientific and methodological sources; writing a qualification paper; preparation of an explanatory note and presentation.

100 points are the sum of points for defense (45), review (45), and supervisor's feedback (10). Review: 1. Degree of fulfillment of the supervisor's tasks: 0-2 points. 2. The degree of development the working with sources skills: 0-2 points. 3. The degree of independence of the research: 0-2 points. 4. The degree of elimination of the supervisor's comments: 0-2 points. 5. Compliance with deadlines: 0-2 points. Overview: 1. Relevance: 0-5 points; 2. Novelty and practical significance: 0-5 points; 3. Personal contribution of the researcher: 0-5 points; 4. Familiarity with scientific sources: 0-5 points; 5. Realization of the goal: 0-5 points; 6.
