Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Confidently speak the state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in the state and foreign languages.
PLO 7. Analyze, compare and classify different areas and schools of linguistics.
PLO 12. Adhere to the rules of academic integrity.
PLO 14: Create, analyze and edit texts of different styles and genres.
PLO 19: Perform interpretation and translation to provide specialized translation from Turkish into Ukrainian and vice versa in various professional fields.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the courses: "Turkish: Practical Course", "Turkish: Oral Turkish Language: Speaking";
2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of general translation theory, ways to achieve adequate translation and basic models of translation activity;
3. Possession of discussion skills when discussing topics from the course "Translation (Turkish)" and possession of basic Translation (Turkish)" and possession of elementary skills of language and speech competence at the B1 level.
Course content
To familiarize students with the main provisions of modern translation studies, to form a theoretical and practical basis for their further development of translation skills necessary for their future work; to improve practical skills and abilities of full written consecutive bilateral translation, written abstracting in Ukrainian/Turkish, and written annotation.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills), which accounts for 60% of the total grade.
Assessment of semester work:
1. Oral exercises: 3 - 4 points.
2. Tests: 12 - 16 points.
3. Listening: 4 - 8 points.
4. Written tasks: 5 - 10 points.
5. Creative work: 6 - 12 points.
6. Module control work (written work; tests): 6 - 10 points.
7. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
