PLO 11. Know the principles, technologies and techniques of oral and written texts of different genres and styles creation in Ukrainian, Swedish English and third Germanic language. PLO 14. Use Swedish, English and third Germanic language in oral and written form, in different genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.

Full-time form

The course "The Swedish Language" does not require any prior knowledge of the Swedish language in the first year of the bachelor's degree. It assumes understanding of basic linguistic concepts and categories (parts of speech, clauses, grammatical categories of gender, numbers, inflection, forms of verb tenses, etc.) learned during studying the school programme.

The course "The Swedish Language" provides practical classes. In practical classes, students train all kinds of speech skills: reading, listening, dialogue and monologue, writing and also master the skills of correct pronunciation, use of grammatical constructions, master the vocabulary of the Swedish language and knowledge of country. The thematic spectrum studied in the first semester covers the most important topics and situations from everyday communication: shopping, food, ways of spending free time, family and homeland, weather. In the first semester, students use the educational methodological complex "Rivstart A1+A2".

Practical classes, independent work.

Oral and written current tests, interviewing, module final test, exam. Assessment criteria for each form of control are given in the course program.
