Learning outcomes
To conduct experimental and theoretical research in physics and astronomy, analyze the results in the context of existing theories, draw reasoned conclusions (including estimating the degree of uncertainty) and make suggestions for further research. To be able to absorb new knowledge in physics and astronomy and integrate it with existing ones, as well as independently master the knowledge and skills needed to solve complex problems and problems in new detailed subject areas of physics and astronomy and related interdisciplinary fields.

To be able to formulate, analyze and synthesize solutions to scientific problems in the field of physics.
Course content
Teaching students modern methods, skills, abilities and ways of organizing the work of future professional activity, forming in them on the basis of knowledge acquired at the University professional skills and abilities to make independent decisions while working in specific socio-economic conditions. Educating the need to systematically replenish their knowledge and creatively apply them in practice. The practice of students involves continuity and consistency of its implementation while obtaining the required amount of practical skills and abilities in accordance with the qualification level of the master.

Assessment methods and criteria
The form of final control of pre-diploma practice for students of the Faculty of Physics - differentiated test. The means of diagnosing learning success is the analysis of the results of students’ research work. Evaluation of the results of the internship is carried out by the head of the internship on a 100-point scale in accordance with the procedure and requirements set out in the current "Regulations on student internship".
