Learning outcomes
PLO04 .To form and analyze financial, management, tax and statistical reporting enterprises and correctly interpret the received information for management decisions.
PLO08.Understand the organizational and economic mechanism enterprise management and evaluate efficiency decision-making using accounting and analytical information.
PLO20. Perform professional functions with regard to requirements of social responsibility, labor discipline, be able to plan and manage time

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of economics.
2. Have the skills to analyze scientific sources and statistical information, synthesis, processing and presentation of the results of data analysis, situations, use of Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Course content
Content module 1. "Theoretical foundations of management": the essence of management is studied; integrated approaches; evolution of management schools; laws, principles, modern concepts of management; modern view on the definition of organization in society and economy; organization environment, functional areas of management.
Content module 2. "Practical tools of management": the functions of management are studied (planning, organization, motivation, control, coordination); types of plans, organizational design, types of organizational structures of the theory of motivation, the essence of control in management; power and leadership as tools of management; communication process.

Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment: (max. Points 60 / min. Points 36)
Survey and problem solving 20 points / 12 points;
Independent work - individual task 40 points / 24 points;
Final assessment in the form of an exam A student is not allowed to take the exam if he / she received less than 36 points during the semester. If the student's grade on the exam is lower than the minimum threshold level (24 points), the points for the exam are not added to the semester grade (considered equal to zero), and the final grade in the discipline is unsatisfactory.
