Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of economic science, the peculiarities of the functioning of economic systems
PLO 3. Use analytical and methodological tools to understand the logic of economic decision-making by various economic agents (individuals, households, enterprises and public authorities)
PLO 6. Apply appropriate economic-mathematical and statistical methods and models to solve economic problems
PLO 9. To analyze the functioning and development of economic entities, to determine the functional areas, to calculate the relevant performance indicators of their activities
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: the basic principles of the monetary system; system of basic concepts, categories and classifications of money theory; basics of legislative regulation of the monetary system; statistical methods and models.
2. Have the skills of statistical processing, analysis and visualization of data, work with regulatory and information base; be able to use software tools for processing large amounts of data and problem-oriented application packages.
Course content
Getting acquainted with the basic concepts, methodology of monetary statistics and mastering the basic techniques of statistical analysis of money circulation and credit operations, interpretation of their results to establish patterns, forecast the development of the monetary market, measures to ensure the stability of the national currency, modeling regulatory functions bank.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The purpose of the discipline is to form the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills of using statistical methods of analysis of economic phenomena and processes in the monetary sphere at the macro and micro levels.
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment: (max. Points 60 / min. Points 36)
1. Survey, performance of practical exercises and calculation-analytical tasks in laboratory classes - 20 points / 12 points;
2. Two control modular works - each 5 points, a total of 10 points / 6 points;
3. Independent work - implementation of the calculation project - 30/18 points;
- final assessment in the form of an exam
