            Course content

The curriculum consists of two content modules: module 1 "Statistical support of population reproduction analysis", which addresses theoretical and methodological and practical issues of studying the preconditions of demographic processes: the number and socio-demographic structure of the population, its survival, and current issues of information. ensuring in terms of its adaptation to international standards; Module 2 "Statistical analysis and modeling of demographic processes", which covers the study of statistical patterns of births, marriages, divorces, migration, as well as the evolution of the order of reproduction of demographic generations and contingents.

The purpose of the discipline is to form students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills in statistical evaluation, analysis and modeling of the process of population reproduction. The educational task of the course is to study the basic methods and techniques of collecting, processing and analyzing statistical information on population formation, its demographic and socio-economic composition, as well as components of natural movement and migration and demographic forecasting.
