Learning outcomes
PLO 1.Know and use economic terminology, explain the basic concepts of micro- and macroeconomics

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the methods of statistics and basics of economic theory, macro- and microeconomics.
2. Be able to search and process statistical data, their visualization.
Course content
The curriculum consists of two content modules: module 1 "Methodological principles of economic statistics. Standards. ”, Which deals with statistical methods of collection, registration of mass data, their processing: systematization, grouping and regrouping, generalization and comparison using statistical classifications and registers, calculation of macroeconomic indicators and their evaluation based on national accounts and balance sheets, module 2 "Statistics of economic phenomena and processes", which reveals the content and composition of national wealth, characterizes the state and use of certain elements of national wealth, considers methods of studying employment, unemployment, economic activity, and foreign economic activity.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The purpose of the discipline - the formation of students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills for quantitative assessment of socio-economic phenomena and processes in accordance with accepted statistical standards and recommendations. The educational task of the course is to study the basic methods and techniques of collecting, processing and analyzing statistical information on economic activity according to economic and statistical standards.
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment: (max. 100 points / min. 60 points)
1. Participation in practical classes (speeches, practical exercises) - 25 points / 15 points
2. Modular test - 25 points / 15 points
3. Performing independent work - 25 points / 15 points.
4. Final test - 25 points / 15 points.
